Growth chart

SUNNY® Osteospermums achieve good growth and flower formation at a constant temperature of 12-14°C, and ventilation at +2°C. Furthermore Osteospermums require a well-lit greenhouse, preferably with artificial lighting.

Plant growth is regulated by watering two to three times with Cycocel, and plants must be set out at 25-40 plants per m2. The production time from potting on to sale is 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the time of year.

SUNNY® Osteospermums are suitable for 10-13 cm pots. Cultivation requires large amounts of water and fertiliser. The best plant quality is obtained with ebb and flow watering systems.
